All our properties are fitted with smoke detectors on each floor of the property and carbon monoxide detectors in any room where there is a 'solid fuel burning appliance' such as a coal fire or wood burning stove per legal requirements.

Further to our legal requirements, we ensure that at the start of every new tenancy these detectors are checked to be in working order and can be found in your check-in inventory.

After your tenancy has started, you will be responsible for checking your smoke/carbon monoxide detectors work and replacing any batteries as you would with bulbs.
